Maddie and Tim, the extraordinary couple behind Westmade Projects, were essential in helping us realise our dream of adding an extension to our home in Mollymook to both future-proof it and make better use of the house’s downstairs space. We had always planned to retire to our family home in Mollymook, but knew that the old 60s beach-house needed to be adapted. Alison had spent many hours thinking and drawing plans to figure out how this might be done, and when we were finally ready to move back we searched for someone to help refine Alison’s ideas and then make them a reality. The only team who understood what we were trying to achieve was Westmade. Maddie and Tim visited our home, walked the grounds, inspected the old house, poured over Alison’s drawings, and in the end said, ‘Yes, we can do this.’ The suggestions they made from the outset, and during the final design process, were practical while remaining in line with the original vision. Everything was costed in detail. Westmade not only finalised the plan, but then got it through Council for approval in record time. We could not have had a better team than Westmade behind us to get us where we are today. Maddie’s a wonderful designer, and Tim’s a wonderful builder with a great group of tradies.

It's not often you get to work with a designer who really listens to what you want to achieve and executes beyond expectations, the story you want to communicate. Nothing but positive feedback here. The whole experience from ideation, creation and installation was absolutely seamless. Our project had a number of constraints and limitations to work within and we were so thrilled with the end result. We engaged still design studio for a design consult for the upcoming renovation of our family home in Mollymook. Maddie designed a complete renovation of my aged and very outdated 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom, apartment in Kirribilli. I was delighted with Maddie’s insight and design of the interior layout and finishes, being in keeping with the era of the 1920’s building with an understated, elegant style. Maddie made the best use of the limited spaces to ensure the apartment had all the necessary inclusions that you would expect in a modern build and that had previously been lacking.
