brief: transform the existing multi-level dwelling into a bright, functional, and enduring family home that blends mid-century design principles with a modern coastal aesthetic. The project presents an opportunity for a cohesive reconfiguration that maximises natural light, spatial efficiency, and flow between indoor and outdoor zones. The design will prioritise practical family living, connection to the natural environment and an improved street appeal to anchor the home’s renewed character to its coastal setting.. This home will celebrate its mid-century origins in its aesthetic direction, while prioritising sustainable material selections and energy-efficient systems where possible.
